Well, another Auburn Football season is in the books; therefore, it is time for me to move on to one of my other favorite sports at Auburn University.
The Auburn Softball team will begin their season with a rematch against Oklahoma on 2/9 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They will play a doubleheader and hopefully get some revenge from the loss in the World Series last season.
This Auburn Softball team has been projected to finish second in the SEC behind the Florida Gators. Auburn has posted a record number of wins for the last two seasons and have won two consecutive SEC Softball Championships.
SEC play will begin on 3/10 against LSU and the SEC tournament will be played in Knoxville, TN from 5/10 thru 5/13.
I will be attending some of the games and I look forward to hanging out with the fans behind the left field fence.
Clint Myers has done a great job building this team and I do feel that this Auburn Softball team is destined to play in another World Series. Hopefully, they can bring the title back to Auburn University this time.
