It's a new day |
Kenneth Carter stated prior to the first practice that the team mindset has changed this off season and "everyone has bought in". That is what will have to happen if the Tigers are to be successful in 2013. Just looking at the attitudes, and the way statements are being made by those who get interviewed, there is a new mental attitude.
The players seem more focused. Determined, if you will, to prove that last season was an anomaly.
The comments from observers around the program indicate that the physical appearance of the players, is evidence enough that some real changes have been made in the off season conditioning program. These are all indications that this year's version of Auburn football will have no resemblance to what we have seen the last two seasons.
What we hope as fans is that the days of being routed by our rivals is gone. The hope is always to go undefeated in every season. Realistically, losses happen. It's the way we have lost that has been so foreign to us. Something that this writer hopes is gone forever!
I am looking forward to the next few days, and listening to Gus' thoughts once we start to strap on the pads.
Until then, here are a couple of videos from the first two days. It's not much, but it's all we have.
Here we can watch as the QB's throw in practice. Also the LINK.
